She kept asking, “What if there was a modest version of this?” but rarely found the answer. The challenge only grew stronger when she stepped into the corporate world. Five days a week, dressing up felt less like a choice and more like a compromise. Despite endless scrolling and searching across brands, she barely found anything that struck the balance between style and modesty. And if she did, she’d hold on to it like a treasure. There were days she would pick two or three pieces from different brands and layer them together just to create one modest outfit that felt right. It worked, but after a point, it started feeling like too much effort for every single look. That’s when the thought sparked — If it doesn’t exist, maybe she can create it.
